let’s practice portraits

I like to change things up from time to time, so this week I add a portrait practice session t my artwork and as I worked on this piece I thought, color value is as important in landscapes and portraits. I fought the temptation to overwork the brushwork, to just leave the brush strokes and give it a painterly look how did I do? I think I’ll add this to my routine.
